lol, every year after the draft Chad Ford is horribly wrong. Every year prior to the draft people on these boards take him for gospel.

Chad Ford's mock final mock of last year, 'Mock 10.2' had 4 picks right out of 29.

By no means do I think he is the end all be all, but there is a reason Olynyk is dropping.

He's the only talking head who's saying that he's dropping. So he must be your guide.

I've only seen him once, Mick Zagger saw him many times. He's a bit too vanilla, IMO, very skilled for a player his size but I'm not sure he has what it takes to be an inside player and putting him at SF kind of cancels his advantages. I get Zagger's Dirk comparison but I think that's extremely optimistic.

    My eyes.

I'll take Givony saying he's the most skilled big man in the draft over Ford's near fall out of the 1st round.

Chad Fraud has been doing this for years and every year I call BS on him.

Anyone else REALLY intrigued with Larkin's potential as a 3rd guard, major change of pace guy?

Elite speed, shooting and ability to run the p&r, he'd be huge for this bench.

Agreed. I hope we use those picks to take flyers on some guys. Those are low risk, high reward picks.

If we do take Gobert, I wonder if it is due to getting inside information from Nic. Nic could also dissuade them if he has played with Gobert and thinks he doesn't have it.

FWIW, Gobert is very similar in build to what Sam Bowie was.

    Bowie: 7'1" 235 lbs 7'5" wing span
    Gobert: 7'2" 238 lbs 7'9" wing span

Then we should pick the best SG available after he's picked.

His analysis in terms of team's needs is pretty good. Not sure about Shabazz to Detroit at #8 but it does not appear that the Pistons would take a big man.

Oladipo to Charlotte makes for an exciting trio with Walker and MKG. Albeit one with poor perimeter shooting. They could use Wes instead.......

I think I can live with Alex Len if that's the way things shake out.

That's why you don't complete the trade until you see what you end up with. I'm not sure Len is the answer, but he seems like a good fit and as promising as anyone else we are going to get.
