the read of the blue-white scrimmage at Duke where he destroyed Austin Rivers is a fun write-up to read.

Good write up. First time, I've ever read "mystic softness" to describe a guy's game.

Here's a guy projected in the second round who intrigues me:
    Mike Muscala

I'm always interested in upgrading our guard defense: how about Michael Snaer?

So, how do these affect our cap? Do they have cap holds? If not, can't we just sign them after all of our other transactions to be cap friendly?

p.s. I like Isaiah Canaan, but it could be because I used to teach at Murray State.

Reggie Bullock is the guy who I think we should target, assuming we trade #10. Him, Hardaway Jr.

No cap holds for 2nd rounders, so yes, we can just wait to sign them until after we have used up our cap space.

They had to dump Sasha on us to make the Courtney Lee sign-and-trade work. Basically, they needed a third team to get involved to get what they wanted from Houston, and paid Sasha's salary and threw in the 2nd rounders to make it worth our while. Basically, Olshey saw it as a chance to get something (not much, but something) for nothing.

I see it now. Signing him created salary on the books to trade for salary of someone they wanted. Thanks.

Not sure why Boston as so dead set on getting Courtney Lee, but they tried to get Phoenix and Orlando involved as the third team and when those deals fell through, the Blazers stepped in.

    BUMP.

So, name three guys you'd be stoked to get (that are not projected to be first rounders).

I'd like any three out of:
PGs: Myck Kabongo/Lorenzo Brown (if we don't get Schroeder)
C: Colton Iverson (if we don't get Dieng/Muscala)
    F: Andre Roberson/Trevor Mbakwe/Livio Jean-Charles
SG: Alex Abrines (just to stash for a while)

I almost like more of the 2nd round picks then the 1st round ones.

Any of Pierre Jackson PG, Mike Muscala C (but see him more as stretch 4), Nate Wolters PG, Colton Iverson C, Glen Rice SF (but we would never draft him)

I see a theme of backup PG and backup Center though (I think our starting Center comes via trade or free agency but no idea who).
