It's my one bit of metrosexuality. I've had my grandfather's straight razor since he passed in the 90s. I bought a badger bristle brush from Camalier & Buckley and have replaced the blade. I now buy the full packet from The Art of Shaving (there's a store within walking distance): Pre-shave gel, shaving soap and after-shave.

I shave more than most people and always use a good razor. I can't stand electric shavers.

Works good on the chest and giblets as well.

use a trimmer to have kind of a perpetual 5 o clock shadow sort of thing, but don't like going smooth, haven't in 5 or so years.

Beard trimmer. Use it on the head and face. Clean up the top and bottom with a razor though.

Funny I saw this. My electric shaver that I've had for 5 years just broke last week, and after 12 years of using them I decided to go back to a manual razor for a bit to try it out.

I bought the Schick 5-blade thing, and it is almost too close of a shave for me. Plus, I've nicked myself 2x in the last week, but my wife seems to like the smoothness of it, even if my face feels dry as hell.

I'll use up the blades, and probably go back to the electric.

I use the $6 a month one because it was a gift. They are great, and when my present is up ill continue with the company. Different prices ranging from 1 to 9 bucks a month, razors sent to your door, quality blades too.

I can't grow a full beard, must be due to my Native American heritage. I can grow a goatee around my mouth just fine along with sideburns though. They just can't connect and i get some crappy pube looking hair that doesn't grow in enough to connect the two. I hope it grows in more as i age.

I shave that off with an electric shaver.
