He is SO playing for a Texas team in 2 years.

But it's OK, we still have Freeland.

I thought the part where he said Roy and his crippled knees need to stay retired was a bit cruel.

"I think you need that true center even if he doesn’t play a lot. You just need one on your team, just a guy who’s big and clogs the paint. I think we definitely need a traditional 5-man. "

I thought this line was interesting. (And true) You need a big space eater on your team, even if he doesn't play a lot of minutes.

I also thought the interviewer was out of line when he suggested that Griner's nutsack was bigger than LMA's.

There's nothing undiplomatic in that interview, stop overreacting.

Most players live in SoCal or Miami during the off-season.

Not a big deal. KD recently purchased a penthouse in a Miami high-rise. Durant to the Heat?!?!

That is funny that a Blazer player gets referred to here sometimes as Lamarsha and not many people seem offended by that. But if you call a female basketball player a male, you have insecurity issues.

Actually, the one person who would legitimately be offended by both terms DOES get legitimately offended by both terms. So there's that. The rest of us are just hypocrites. It's nothing right about either term and we shouldn't be using either, it's rather our own hypocrisies that give the appearance of a double standard. There is no double standard except in ourselves.

To be fair, a ton of guys is only, like, nine guys.

The more I think about this comment from LMA the more I am convinced that we should not spend too much money on a center. Certainly if we can get a top big you do it and you pay for it. But some of these guys who are 10 mil plus that are light in weight, and are just shot blockers (i.e McGee) are not the best fit. LMA is right when he said

" I think you need that true center even if he doesn't play a lot. You just need one on your team, just a guy who’s big and clogs the paint"

Translation: A big ass part time center. Don't pay too much. (even a young Joel Pryzbilla would work-but hopefully with a few more offensive skills)

LMA doesn't seem like a high endorsement guy and probably relies heavily on his contract for income. Whichever team offers the most money should have a good chance of signing him, IMO.

I think nine players is considered a pod or a kit.
