    Cookware. A good pan cared for lasts a lifetime.
    Cheap on glassware. I always break it anyway so no point in buying expensive. Never yet had Thanksgiving without at least one wine glass breaking.
    Food. Not a brand loyalist since I don't use prepared foods, but buy only best quality - rather eat meat rarely and pay more for hormone/antibiotic free, grass fed, free range. Stuff in my garden, all the work I'm putting in, I want good results! Vets/dentists - don't skimp!
    Agree on toilet paper. Cheap crap you just use more.
