Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Mike Adams is expected to make a full recovery after being stabbed in an apparent robbery attempt, the team said. Adams' agent, Eric Metz, told NFL.com that the tackle underwent surgery after being stabbed in the stomach after three assailants allegedly tried to steal his truck on the South Side of Pittsburgh. Metz said no vital organs were hit, but the stomach injury did require surgery. Adams is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks, but should return in time for training camp in late July. "We are aware of the situation regarding Mike Adams being stabbed earlier this morning," Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said. "We are in direct communication with both Mike and his family. Mike is expected to make a full recovery." Read more http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9331904/mike-adams-pittsburgh-steelers-stabbed-attempted-robbery
