saying "no homo" during his post-game press conference. He should have just said "both teams played hard". http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/201...t-indiana-pacers-apologizes-postgame-gay-slur
I had to look it up to figure out what "no homo" means in the context of defense. Nothing, as it turns out. http://www.outsports.com/2013/6/2/4388296/indiana-pacers-roy-hibbert-no-homo-miami-heat-lebron-james
If Hibbert was a MLS soccer player, he'd have been suspended for 3 games. http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/...uspended-three-games-for-anti-gay-slur-041613
Talk about an overreaction from the media/NBA.... The line was obviously not meant to be offensive. In fact, I don't think it was even technically a "slur". He said "get into the paint because he stretched me out so much, no homo..." How is that bigoted towards gay people?
I took it that he was implying that homosexuals get stretched out... in one place or another, probably the asshole.
wait, "no homo" was the "homophobic slur" that everyone's been headlining? I guess I just assumed it was a K*be-level "Mucking Maggot" or something, which isn't cool and should be reprimanded. "No homo"? Really?
