Now can we get Fox News to admit to being republican news?

This is not new. MSNBC has always been up front about their progressive bent.

They've been upfront about being a politics channel and not a news channel, too. Though that was a rather significant change when they let a bunch of actual news people go (a few went to NBC News, a few went to other networks).

The "Lean Leftward" motto might be a clue.

MSNBC admits that FauxNews and CNN are better than them at breaking news. MSNBC's mandate seems to be to give liberals a network to watch that will validate their world view.

    Sounds like propaganda to me.

But honest propaganda. Fox "News" on the other hand.

    Fox is News though.

All day it's news. At night, Hannity and The Five are politics.

Red Eye is a late night comedy show. Greta is a show about the Law. O'Reilly does social commentary mixed with a little politics.

Fox has hundreds of actual reporters. It's surprising how many of their on air people are lawyers.

It was "Lean Forward". That's a socialist phrase.

I rarely watch the news on TV. I find it to be scripted and full of talking points. It's my understanding that FauxNews actually has quite a few progressives on their network, though.

I will say I find it funny and a bit stupid when people here say they watch Maddow and Matthews, while slamming others for watching O'Reilly and Hannity.

That a DERP in life, and the sign of an incurious person to me.

No ones going to disagree, and Fox is obviously the ying to MSNBC's yang but this shit only exists because its raking in money, not because some anonymous room full of white people in suits are plotting to brainwash people into left or right leaning viewpoints.

As long as people continue to watch their left leaning/right leaning news it will always be this way. There's too much money at stake to give it up and get into real reporting and let someone else fill that niche.

Maybe "progressive" isn't enough of a clue to you. If you're watching MSNBC and don't understand their POVl, then I do feel a bit embarrassed for you.

By the way, I hardly ever watch msnbc or fox except for prior to presidential elections. I actually watch O'Reilly more than msnbc. I do on occasion listen to the Maddow podcast, like once a month.

I don't care who you watch. You called me out on the "Forward" phrase, which has a deep history in socialism.

I just wish you socialists would actually say what you believe, instead of hiding behind divisiveness and slogans.

Lean Forward is not a socialist phrase. The word "Forward" may ave been used in socialist context, but it has also been used in gay rights, in directions, in progressive speech, it is just a word. The phrase "Lean Forward" as far as I can tell was only used by MSNBC.

They really mean "forward" in the sense you put the car in reverse and stomp on the gas thinking it's in drive.
