Haven't seen much of him but that would be a compliment in my book, I actually see a lot of Derozan in Elliot Williams.

Yeah I would love it. Sure we would be a little short with both of them in the game at the same time, but we would still have Wes or Will to compliment CJ against those few teams where his lack of height would be an issue.

The flip side is we would have two guards that could pretty much score from anywhere on the floor.

    Height (Wingspan)

    Lillard: 6'1.75" (6'7.75")
    McCollum: 6'2.25" (6'6.25")

    By comparison:
    Stephen Curry: 6'2" (6'3.5")
    Jarrett Jack: 6'2.5" (6'7.5")

    Raymond Felton: 5'11.5" (6'4.25")
    Pablo Prigioni: 6'2"?

    Mario Chalmers: 6'2"?
    Dwyane Wade: 6'3.75" (6'10.75"(!))

I'd be happier if either Lillard or McCollum had any kind of reputation for defense.

McCollum is definitely intriguing, and if I had to bet, I'd probably bet that he'd be the ROY, particularly if he's taken by a team that will give him big minutes (a la Lillard).

Either that or Jimmer Fredette II...

I don't think he will be a Jimmer simply due to the fact he doesn't need the ball in his hands dribbling around for a long time to get his shot off. If he can even just catch and shoot 3s quickly at a high %, which scouts seem to think can do, then he is going to have a long career.

How come we don't give the Jimmer the same benefit of a doubt that we gave to JJ, DMC, or Evans? You know.....a good player stuck in a bad situation in SacTown.......

I know, he sucks, and had "bust" written all over him from day one. But maybe we should be consistent..... or maybe not.

Those players still have been decent despite the system.

    Jimmer never shined.

    JJ was terrible there.

Jimmer's most definitely a real short 2, but otherwise, he's fairly similar numbers wise to what Redick was early on. Big issue being, Redick is 6'4" in socks, Jimmer is 6'. So you'd want a teller PG to play alongside him.
Still, he can shoot. I'd take him but wouldn't want to give up anything for him.

One guy who's turning people's heads? Isaiah Canaan. PG has been working out really well. Could have a Mario Chalmers type role with a team.

Chad Ford: Pelicans GM Dell Demps was at today's Cibona game in Croatia. From what I could gather in Vegas, Pelicans very high on Saric. Twitter @chadfordinsider

If N.O is that interested in Saric, surely he will be there at 10. What can we give them to swap picks. Just 4 positions. That should be easy.

We could get McCollum or Len

Saric has been playing great in the last few games. He's another prospect creeping into the top 10 and maybe out of reach.

Kind of a no lose situation for us if that happens. If Saric moves into the top 9, that moves someone else down a spot. To us....

I'd gladly trade up for Alex Len.
