Toyota announced on Wednesday that it is recalling a combined 87,000 Toyota Prius and Lexus HS 250h hybrids from the 2010 model year due to a brake issue. According to Toyota, the vehicles covered by the recall may have been equipped with a faulty brake pressure accumulator. Toyota says that one of the accumulator's internal parts may be susceptible to cracking overtime, which could lead to reduced braking efficiency.
