suspended 100 games would be a ~$20M mistake. Wow.

Couldn't give two shits about the MLB, but I heard he just sold his mansion for a $15 mill profit, so dude can't be hurting that bad by the suspension...

Does this mean that going forward, any player who first lies about taking steroids will automatically get 2 counts against them and thus the 100 game 2nd time offender suspension? That seems crazy.

It still amazes me that the MLB players make so much money. The roids is gonna be a huge problem in the MLB. I doubt there isn't a single player in the MLB that is on the juice.

I would put the number at somewhere around at least 30% of the MLB players are on nothing illegal.

That's the "slippery slope" because the league may have to bring a shit ton of minor leaguers to fill in for all the suspensions! Hahaha

Personally I think any player linked to roids should not be in the Hall and have astericks rather than their stats.

So where do you draw the line? Just being linked and a person gets punished? So much for innocent until proven guilty. You know how easy it is, even with current testing, to juice? Go read some of the fairly recent interviews with Victor Conte, founder of BALCO. A lot of guys are using, just some are wiser about how much and when they use.

And where do you draw the line for performance-enhancers? Guys who were using amphetamines/greenies back in the day? Was there anything wrong with that? Now, the performance-enhancers are simply more sophisticated today than in the past, but they've been a part of the game (and other sports) for much longer.
