The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has released the Better Life Index. It ranks the quality of life in OECD countries based on 11 categories of metrics -- housing (including data on "rooms per person," "dwellings with basic facilities," and "housing expenditure"); environment ("air pollution" and "water quality"); and work-life balance ("employees working very long hours" and "time devoted to leisure and personal care"), among others. You can weight the metrics to get a personal ranking of countries that fit your preferences. Mine are all really cold-ass countries, apparently (Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Canada, etc...)
Looks like Canada, Denmark, Netherlands and Switzerland are my spots. I rated education, environment, health, civic engagement and gender equity highest. But I don't think the Swiss have marriage equality (yet!) so cross it off. Sorry, Heidi.
There isn't really a metric that represents freedom and individuality, and not being controlled by the government and the masses. That is an important aspect for me that isn't available on this site.
So, you're happier waiting in line, thinking about being sloppy seconds (as opposed to be in action)? You're probably happier as the sidekick (Pipper) than the man (MJ)?
I look forward to wiping my dick off on HCP's pillowcase almost as much as I look forward to getting it so it needs wiping off...
