I know they're becoming the Hornets but I got the strangest tweet sent to me today. from Anette Baybutt: "My favorite sport is basketball, i play it hear in norway. My favorite team is the Charlotte bobcats" Hahahahaha. She lives 'hear' in Norway and thus has her pick of any team to root for, the Lakers, the Heat, our Trail Blazers, and yet she chooses the "Charlotte bobcats." How odd is that? Is there a Norweigan player on the team. I find it hysterical that someone outside Charlotte would choose to root for them. Heck, I'd be a little surprised if someone from Charlotte would root for them, haha.
Maybe she just likes bobcats, or their team colors or something? I once met an Israeli who liked the Timberwolves. He really just liked Garnett though.
Well, Anette is a girl, she play's basketball, and the Bobcats is a name for a girl's middle school team. It seems perfectly natural.
She'll have the last laugh when the Bobcats are in the finals and the Blazers are stuck in Mediocreville.
