so I haven't gone to a gym to workout in a long time, but how's he supposed to bring that down to his chest?

I agree with you. He can get stronger. My point was they play two different types of positions. Durant really didn't need to get much stronger. But Noel absolutely has to.

That lower leg doesn't look right, at all. Looks like it's bent.
I'd be staying well clear of this guy in the draft at any position - let alone the top three picks.

You guys are busy talking about how skinny his arms are and haven't even mentioned how it looks like they left a fucking toaster in his knee when they sewed him up!

He's not. It's just short resistance. From there up and back. Note that those are not 45 lbs plates, but 25 pounders.

Make sure it doesn't fall on his multi-million $ body. This was taken with a wide angle lens, but what size shoe does he wear.

You could see the talent in Durant right away but he got abused his first year by many players. He did have to get stronger. And he did.

I was thinking the exact same. His feet look huge.

Btw, Len was already in town -- why did the blazers keep that so hush-hush? When Joel freaking Freeland was in town to sign his contract and to take his physical the media was there in force.

Easier to keep quiet when it was just an interview. He can't workout. It wasn't that hush hush though. Some sites reported it.

They reported that he'd be in town within the next few weeks. His interview kinda came out of nowhere.

Looks like some kind of quarter rep exercise. Working on the fast twitch fibers.

With the Blazers lacking depth and holding onto the #9 and #10 picks in the second round, I'm still surprised there's not more conversation about that.

I know we touch on second rounders a bit in this thread, but is there a separate thread going about the team's second round choices?

The second round as a whole is a crap shoot, but having two "top ten" second round picks has got to be exciting for fans of a team that lacks a bench. Where's the Ledo vs. Rice debate?

Has anyone gotten a chance to see Ledo play (well, probably no one has... the guy's an enigma). His story really intrigues me though as a second rounder. He's the first guy to really be put in his situation that I can think of. At least with guys like Jeremy Tyler and Brandon Jennings, you got to see them play international ball, and Latavious Williams played in the NBDL. Ledo essentially sat out his freshman year and then declared. If I had a #9/10 second round pick, I'd be really intrigued by a supposed lottery talent that could be had in the second round. Are the Blazers bringing Ledo in for a workout?

Nobody really has. He's been called one of the "highest upside" guys in the draft. But he's such an unknown because he sat out. His jumper is really intriguing, though. In most mocks he's sneaked up into the first round.

we actually have 9, 10 and 15 in the second round.

I still think Wolters with one of them would be a good thing. I'm not as high on Siva or Kabongo as others, but I still think that a combo guard that can spot PG minutes would be a good thing, unless we know that Maynor is coming back or we picked up McCollum in the 1st.

Mitchell and/or Muscala were dreams at 39--looks like they might go in the 20's now. People bring up Iverson, but I know nothing about him.

With the last pick, I think BPA regardless of position is the way to go (or trade for one next year, since we don't have a 2nd in 2014). I'm intrigued by Rice--I think Curry could be a UFA signing post-draft.

Here's an article about that. This quote seems pretty ominous if the Blazers have their hearts set on Caldwell-Pope:

If they can't trade up (and given that they're not prepared to give up Derrick Williams (why would someone want him?) it looks likely they can't, then C-P seems the obvious pick at #9. Fingers crossed they really like Muhammad... (who might actually work well with Rubio).

Ricky Ledo sounds an awful lot like JR Smith.

Enes Kanter was a bit similar. He didn't play in college so people were going off of what they saw when he was 16/17. Kyrie Irving played a little bit at Duke but after missing most of the year he didn't come in and tear it up so he was a bit of a question mark.
