I dont know. It depends if he wins a championship without Shaq. He needs someone better then Odom as his "robin".

Now he is defintiely Number 10. I believe when he retires he can make the Top 5, or Top 3 if he surpasses Wilt's 100. I don't think he is popular or as good at defense (plus he has less rings) to surpass Jordan or Kareem.

If you have to, just use one exclamation.

top 10, yes definetly. I don't think he'll be in the top 5 without winning a championship without Shaq and I just don't see him doing that. He might though and if he does i'll put him up there. I don't know about top 3 though. I don't think he's THAT good.

Top 5 of all time? Are you saying he's had a better career than guys like MJ, Magic Johnson, Wilt, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Larry Bird, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, etc. Those are just guys off of the top of my head.

If he wins another ring while being the main guy, he's definitely top 5 material. If he continues his career being a 30+ ppg scorer and top notch defender but just bounces around the first and second round, he might be considered borderline top 10.

He is the Top 10 best right now he will be Top 3 - Top 5 best once he retires. He is the best player in NBA right now.

He only won 3 defensive awards. All of them 2nd team. Kobe is the better scorer, defender, and many other things. Bird is better than Kobe at alot of things too, but Kobe actually does the things people notice today, better than Bird, so he would be recognized as better than Bird, now or very soon, esp. after the 81 point game. Oscar was a triple threat but his era was a while back, nowadays he wouldn't be as good scorer as Kobe, and Oscar only has 1 ring.

[IMG] Why say anything? It's not that big of a deal, and if it was I'm sure an admin will pull me up on it! If you have nothing to say about the topic, then dont post. Hows that for a suggestion?Kobe has had more success, ring wise than Wilt. Why wouldn't he be considered top 5? He has a great scoring average and high scoring games. His defense basically holds together the Lakers at the moment. Top 5 all time NOW, let alone later.

Are you too stupid to see that after the second quote on my post, I was on topic? Yes, I stand on my statement, you're retarded. :happy0144:

If he continues with 30ppg whilst playing good defense and not winning championships he'd be a top 10. If he wins 1-2 rings he's top 5.

He needs to be judged as an individual player. He can't keep taking the blame for things that are out of his hands, it's not fair. He is a great player, I don't think he's done making noise, let's see what else he can do.
