crandc-- You ought to check out the ooma. It lets you get a landline via internet for under $10/mo. But my favorite part is the Blacklist, which allows you to ban specific phone numbers from calling you. It also has a community blacklist, so that if enough people ban a particular caller you'll never get a call from them. I get a telemarketer once every 3-4 months, and I always tell them to call me back later. After they hang up, I add them to the blacklist and I never hear from them again. I fucking hate companies that leave ads and phone books on my doorstep. Makes me want to take all my trash and just dump it in their parking lot.
