    You likely didn't read it. It was said by the announcer right on the video of him throwing the fist pitch. Now where he got that tidbit from (or if it is even legit) is another story.

    No it wouldn't. It'd bounce before the plate.

    Don't hate. Dude was probably a better baseball player, at least through HS, than a football player.

    Because many Major League pitchers top out at 91-92, and Kaepernick went out in blue jeans, sneakers, and threw one pitch 87. It's impressive for a guy to throw a first pitch that hard. He probably could have been a great MLB pitcher with that arm.

    threw 2 no hitters his senior year in hs, era under 2, with more than a strikeout an inning
