Ominous sign at #Blazers predraft workout: Louisville's Peyton Siva laying on trainers table with left leg elevated & wrapped in a soft cast

    Casey Holdahl ‏@CHold 11m
For what it's worth, Victor Claver has both of his legs in the same apparatus Siva does. Looks like therapy more than anything.

    Casey Holdahl ‏@CHold 4m
Muscala said that Peyton Siva hurt his ankle in a previous workout and did not participate in today's run

    Candace Buckner ‏@blazerbanter 2m
With the #Blazers remodeling (or cleaning out) the training room, all the workout guys getting treatment were out in the open...

    Candace Buckner ‏@blazerbanter 1m
So, Peyton Siva (Louisville) & Elijah Johnson (on his second #Blazers workout from Kansas) were spotted on trainer's tables.

We do have a more glaring need at center, but we still have a need at SG as well. We need one more player who can attack the basket if we ever want to go anywhere in the playoffs. I know the playoffs seem like a long ways away for this team, and it very well may be, but eventually we will need a few issues resolved. So I am OK if we get a center, SG or back up PG. Either way we need to add them all. That is why it still comes down to BPA.

I don't think playoffs are that crazy if we can get a decent center and some bench guys. Denver seems to be imploding and i wouldn't be surprised if we were better than the Jazz and Minny since it's Minny after all. 2nd place in the Northwest is doable.

Blazers have 4 ... MT @ESPNSteinLine: Raptors have no picks but I'm told they intend to acquire at one by Thur. night. 2nd-rounder at worst

Forget to mention, Shabazz Muhammad (ankle) didn't workout today, but will have lunch w/ Kings GM Pete D'Alessandro.

Today was the final draft workout -- interesting that they didn't bring in Shazbazz or Dieng for a workout/interview.

I guess the Suns, who we will be picking for on Thursday, didn't want either of them.

That has nothing to do with if they came to Portland or not. It'd matter if they didn't workout in Phoenix.

    http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2013/st...aft-10-players-invited-green-room-sources-say

The NBA has issued 10 preliminary invitations to its "green room" for Thursday night's draft, according to multiple sources.

Those invited are: Nerlens Noel (Kentucky); Victor Oladipo (Indiana); Otto Porter (Georgetown); Alex Len (Maryland); Anthony Bennett (UNLV); Ben McLemore (Kansas); Trey Burke (Michigan); Michael Carter-Williams (Syracuse); C.J. McCollum (Lehigh) and Cody Zeller (Indiana).
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So they polled the GM's and MCW was in the top 10? I doubt that will happen, but I hope to hell he and Zeller are taken in the top 9.

No Adams either, who a lot of mock draft sites have going in the top 10 now.

Oh Yeah. No Shabazz most definitely caught my eye. But I bet they add him. (along with a few others) I just don't see both Minnesota and Detroit passing on him. But I hope they do.

I just can't believe that Williams was actually mentioned enough times by the GM's to be in the top 10. Are there any mocks that have him below 12-13?

Looking at various mocks I'm starting to see a consensus at #9 and #10:

    Minnesota - Caldwell-Pope
    Portland - Adams

Is it possible the people everyone thought would go 1/2 (Noel, McLemore) could drop out of the top 5?

Apparently McLemore is stinking up the joint in workouts, and Noel has lingering questions regarding his knee.

I heard he absolutely bombed his workout in Phoenix.
