The HCP is now legally a man of the cloth! My best friend asked me to marry him and his girl. Wedding is this Saturday and my license finally came in the mail today. Best part is I got this dope parking pass as a bonus! For you church goin' folks....... would you rather be married by your best friend of 20 years or a perfect stranger who is a real man of the cloth?
Not a church going folk, but this would have been a great idea when I got married. I am still pissed at spending money for a man of the cloth. Fucker mispronounced both of our last names.

My wife did not show that much displeasure since her name usually gets mispronounced. I was pissed since I had emailed him to avoid this and had even talked with him before the ceremony to once more make sure he knew how to pronounce it. He then butchered mine and I almost punched him. Nopachai is my wife's name. I told him to separate the three syllables, pronounce PA as in a dad and CHAI just like the tea. He then procedes to call her NOPACHI sounding like APACHE. Walburn is mine. He pronounced it Wilburn. Jackass.
Even though we both lived out here at the time, we still married in the Midwest since most of our family is still there. We rented a historic mansion and the officiant was recommended by them. Wish we would have got married closer to where we live since we could have gotten a look at him beforehand. I think they should have warned us that not only was he incapable of handling small requests like pronouncing last names correctly, he also looked like Dick Cheney.
