    I personally think Bennett will be the best player from this draft, but without knowing anything about the top picks, either him or Oladipo. Then buy my way back into the first and draft Dieng

    If you could get the Cavs to bite on the first deal and if you could get back in the 1st round and get Dieng I could live with that. Im not sure how Bennett fits with LMA and I like the potential of Oladipo.

    Brief Summary:

    GM's all seem to love Oladipo as their "favorite player" not necessarily the top pick. Elite defense and no nonsense with win attitude.

    Cleveland really wants to make the playoffs and they dont necessarily think they have to do that through the draft. Only real hole is SF that could be filled in the draft but they would rather get a veteran in FA (Pierce) and then they can draft BPA instead of need.

    They have heard that Noel's knee got a green light to play from the Cavs doctor. Ford compares him to Davis. Says we didnt see his full progress due to injury. He was getting better. Kentucky would have made the tourney and he would be similar to Davis. Likes Noel and Irving combo. Hinted it could even make Cleveland more attractive to LBJ

    So basically nothing new there.

    I don't know why, but every time I see a team promoting a draft party I think they must be looking to do something fairly big.

    I know that's not the case though

    Can't recall a Draft with this much uncertainty leading up to the big day. Teams doing a great job of keeping their cards close to the vest.


    Its been a pretty quiet day for rumors so far, makes me wonder if someone is up to something big.

    I would be shocked at MCW at 10. I think Ford missed it on this one. Not even close to BPA in almost every analysis and not a great fit either. Not sure what motivated him.

    As I reported last week, Magic are completing their predraft workouts with Cody Zeller. Zeller is working out again today.

    Odd, 2nd workout for Zeller for the Magic at the 2 spot
