I'd be down with trading for the Mav's No. 13 pick, then sending No. 10 + No. 13 to move up and get whoever the Olshey Brain Trust (tm) deems to be this year's Lillard. I know a lot of folks want to trade Freeland in those scenarios, but I think he's probably too expensive in terms of cap hit for what he provides, IOW, I'll be moderatly surprised if anybody wants him.

Phoenix could trade there center, Minny could lose there center.

New Orleans has Robin Lopez, who they've said they don't see as the future - which is why he got a 2 year contract.

    So, uh, no.

Actually, it was supposed to be McCollum at 8 (since that's actually much more realistic than the mock linked in the linked post), and that's not a reach at all. good catch though.

Phoenix could trade their center, but they could easily see Bennett as BPA over Len.
NO has Lopez at Center and Vasquez at PG. They also have Davis and Anderson in their front court. Much more likely to take Burke than Len.
Minny "may" lose Pek, but they know they have crap at the two spot. Makes perfect sense for them to take Shabazz or KCP instead of Len.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if both Muhammad and Len are available when we pick.

Basically to have Len drop you have Zeller in there instead. I just don't see any team that would want Zeller over Len.

Others mentioned that might go top 10:

    Caldwell-Pope
    Cater Williams
    Adams
    Saric
    Gobert

here is a link to 4 people's guess at the draft and they have len at 9,9,11,5. This thing is wide open and I think "in Olshey we trust" will start to be my mantra. With the rumor that Olshey not impressed in general, I hope they trade the pick.

Which player likely firs better in Sacramento alongside DMC? To me, it's Zeller. That's why I see him going 7 instead of Len.

Hopefully Burke does not drop or Sac might take him instead. Saric needs to stay in the draft. just in case someone in the top 9 wants him. It sucks he is leaning towards pulling his name out.

Gobbert I think will also be a very good center, maybe as good as Len. Burke could slip, you know what you get with him and some teams may want to take someone with more untapped Potential, but Burke will be a very good player and if he's selected in the teens, a very big steal.

I would be happy if it played out that way. Maybe Minnesota would take Zeller as insurance for Love leaving or getting hurt again. If they are tired of his ego maybe they want to trade him.......

This surprises me. ;) I'd be excited to take a chance on him...with a pick outside the top 10.
