I've always wondered who people listened to and liked more. Here in Chicago I listen to 2pac and have only heard a couple good Biggie songs. I've liked 2pac more because of his voice and I liked his lyrics more. I'll share more of my thoughts a little later on but who do you like to listen to more? Biggie or Tupac and why??
Tupac by far, hes the greatest rapper of all time, and logically hes the best selling rapper of all time, so Tupac.
Pac is the GOAT. I definitely like Pac more, but Biggie is an assassin as well. Biggie is all about those lyrics you go "ooh" and "ahh" too, but 2Pac does that too, and he's more lyrical and he actually has "good songs" as well. He was a very deep person.
2 Pac by far. His flow is amazing. Theres an article in XXL about Pac's music being overrated. I need to get that on here. They made some great points.
I liked 2pac alot for the fact that he's the realist man to ever live. If he was gonna smoke weed he was gonna do it in front of the law, if he was gonna talk sh*t he was gonna do it in your face..he was real and I respect him for that. What are your favorite 2pac and Biggie songs?? I need to start listening to a little more Biggie so if anyone knows any good songs then let me know.
I've gotta rep for Biggie on this one. Both have had their fair share of hits, but I think it's probably just a preference of rap styles. Ready to Die was absolutely brilliant, a bunch of bangers on that one. Whats Beef? is one of the most solid song's I know, and even Duets had a few solid songs on it. He was also great on Brooklyn's Finest with Hov. Both of them are great, but I prefer Biggie over Pac.
biggieif you break it down bar for bar and line for line biggie2pac's lyrics were deep but they were simplebiggie had that word play and the voice was just crazy
This turning a little East and West. Both of you that voted for big are from Boston but Biggie does have a great voice and great lyrics.
Logically its Tupac by far, Biggie something like 3 records, to Pac 10+. I listen to both Pac and Biggie, and Biggie has great lyrics, but Pac is a poet, and hes a rapping legend and the greatest rapper of all time, I take Pac.
I dont wanna take anything away from Biggie, but I like Tupac better. Biggie was great but Pac's lyrics meant more then what Biggie's meant. No one is really better than the other. This comparison is as hard as "KG or Duncan".

For the record, Pac is not the GOAT. Nasir Jones is much more talented as an MC and released way more quality albums.

Biggie Smalls has a few good songs but Biggie is nowhere near tupac's level. I realize that some of you guys are saying Biggie because of the way you grew up and maybe you just like listening to songs about being a player or whatever but the fact that tupac actually wrote his lyrics and made over 300 songs with at least 150 of them being 5 out of 5 star quality songs. 2pac is just an inspiring individual and even with everything he went through he still gave hope to millions of fans all over the world. Tupac is the obvious choice.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Tupac Shakur-Only Fear of DeathThey wanna bury me, I'm worried -- I'm losin my mind Look down the barrel of my nine and my vision's blurry Fallin to pieces, am I guilty? The difference between these two guys is so miniscule that you'd need to nitpick to choose one over the other. Obviously based on what you like, you'll choose one or the other, and while neither of these guys are my favorite, I can safely say that they're both on the same level. Best rapper of all time? Nas. Someone said it before, but Nas is a level up from these two.
Nas is great but 2pac and Eazy E are a step ahead of Nas. I really like the Thugz Mansion acoustic with 2pac and Nas.Has anyone heard the Changes remix with the "Ill be Missing You" tune but the Changes lyrics...if not I recommend you listen to it because it's one amazing song. So Sick ft. 2pac is also amazing but it's short but I usually listen to remixes or unreleased tracks because Ambitionz as a Ridah,Changes,All Eyez on Me, and all his big tracks are over played.

The man doesn't even write his own lyrics for crying out loud.. Nas had at least 4 classic albums while Tupac has two at most. It doesn't matter how much unreleased stuff he has, lyrically he will NEVER be equal to Nas.
