The Minnesota Timberwolves want a shooting guard, and to acquire one of the best -- either Indiana Hoosier Victor Oladipo or Kansas Jayhawk Ben McLemore -- in the 2013 draft will require moving up from their No. 9 pick. As such, the T-Wolves have put the package of forward Derrick Williams, the No. 9 pick and the No. 26 pick in the front window. According to ESPN's Marc Stein, they have approached the Orlando Magic, who hold the second overall pick, about the deal. They have also reached out to the Charlotte Bobcats, who pick fourth, and the Phoenix Suns, who pick fifth. Williams, the second pick in the 2011 draft, has popped up in trade rumors throughout the first two years of his career. Source http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/393743?asid=61675011
