    Why should he resign with Lakers for 4-5 years? Other than the extra money, he'd be playing with Kobe, Pau, Artest, and Nash?? Really - that wouldn't give me much hope or excitement either.

    Be careful what you wish for. They could suck so bad they get Wiggins in next years draft, then have only Nash and Wiggins under contract to sign free agents.

    More likely that they amnesty Kobe now? If Dwight leaves they have zero chance at a title so why have a guy with a major injury for $30+mil on your cap.

    If we strike out on free agents I'd love for us to make a bid on Kobe, just to rent him for a year would be hilarious.
