Rather than sit and watch whatever he was trying to build be burned to embers, Bryan Colangelo has decided to step down as President of Made Up Stuff within MLSE and take a "consulting" role from home or wherever. Ujiri is supposedly dissatisfied with the assemblage of talent Colangelo has cobbled and, with the possible exception of Jonas Valanciunas, is ready to put every Raptor on the block to change the team. I wouldn't expect Ujiri to try a "start from scratch" approach but his reported willingness to include Kyle Lowry in any trade for Bargnani suggests he's willing to do what it takes to get going right away on revamping the roster.
