Thrilled with the pick. The Blazers might have stolen next year's ROY again.

Yes, because the bench was full of players who can create their own offense last season.

    Such a buzzkill...

I think it was a good pick at the 10th spot in this draft. I'm pretty psyched about it.

In the long run, I can see Lillard and CJ playing side by side. Hopefully closer to Thomas/Dumars than Curry/Ellis.

Who dribbles and distributes the ball in the 2nd unit then?

If McCollum is as advertised, I don't see either Lillard or CJ as an Ellis. Ellis is uber-talented, but he didn't work well with Curry because they both need the ball. I think CJ can play off the ball when needed and not suffer. Plus, he's a decent defender, and already will be better defensively than Lillard was as a rookie.

Keep one of the two on the court at all times. Keep Maynor, too.

Wes is actually a good choice to start, he is steady and always goes hard setting a tone. He's just not that good, so reducing his minutes would be nice.

Most NBA ready prospect probably. I seriously think he'll contend for ROY

Do not agree. I love McCollum, but he is a SG IMO. And our #3 PG.
    We need Maynor

I like Wes a lot, but if you have a ROY candidate who is suited to play 40 minutes, put your best guys out there and go for it.

Play Wes in 3 guard sets, at backup SF, and in situations where he is a better match up.

    IMO

This pick has a real shot to be a solid pick, but I'm not overly excited.

I don't think the Curry/Ellis comparison is right, I think the better comp for our backcourt right now is last years GSW's Curry and Thompson like Lillard and Matthews, with Jack off the bench like CJ. I would have liked them to swing for the fences with rebuilding, but I see them going hard for Gortat now and that top 6 compares favorably to GSW last year, not title contenders but a playoff squad if they can land the big center.
