http://www.csnnw.com/blog/blazers-talk/aldridge-says-he-didnt-request-trade-blazers Direct Aldridge quotes: “I haven't demanded a trade or cleared a way for my departure,” Aldridge told CSNNW.com in a brief phone conversation. “It's not true. That's all I am saying right now.”
What really has me worried is that Lillard hasn't released an email saying he doesn't want to be traded.
He did, though. The morons in the local media completely forgot about it, though. http://www.csnnw.com/blog/blazers-talk/exit-interview-aldridge-wants-big-protects-paint I assume by him saying "we" he was including himself. If the team still sucks in two years, he should leave, and I wouldn't blame him.
Ben Golliver is my friend. Don't you be talkin' about my friend that way. Geez, have YOU ever made a mistake?! :MARIS61:
Seems as though Golliver made something up, though, or reported something without actually asking LMA about it.
Just typical draft hype. I'm glad LA finally nipped it in the bud because even I was thinking about what we could get for him. I get his position, he likes it here and see's that we are on the upward swing. You can't blame a guy for wanting to win, if not here then somewhere.
You think? Wouldn't you rather use cap space and maybe Matthews and Leonard for a center? The Oregonian said Noah said he would like to play for Portland. Maybe we can offer Leonard and Matthews for him. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I thought LaMarcus' silence in this matter was deafening. His denial is pretty muted. "I haven't demanded a trade. That's all I'm saying." OK.
Here's a 3-way for ya Magszy HOU apparently wants a good shooting 4 to pair with Howard if they get him and then trade Asik Por gets Asik the defensive C they covet and trade Wes Matthews to the Bucks and Leonard to HOU Bucks get Wes as they have no SG at all and he's a local guy Hou gets Illyasova who shot 44% on 3's last yr - nice pairing with Howard, and Leonard or a future 1st
I need to hear Aldridge say he wants to be here in the long run in order to take his trade stance seriously. If he's not willing to commit long-tern, then yes, he's obviously thinking about playing in another city. Right now he's going down the Dwight Howard road of denying that he wants to leave while at the same time not committing long-term.
Is this a real tweet? What a fucking tool. LaMarcus is responding to the flood of stories that he wants out of Portland. That Quick is largely responsible for. Just when I thought Quick was turning into a normal human. With a statement like that he'd fit right in with some of the more irrational posters here. Straight up trolling.
