That's not adjusted for inflation. You can't find a ranking by number of tickets sold. A lot more people attended movies before TV than now.
I've never seen a Transformers movie. Are they any good? Every other franchise on that list, outside of X-Men, Fast and Furious, and Narnia, I've seen every movie in said franchise.
Batman, Spiderman, and Superman are all not part of the Marvel Universe but Iron Man is? And yes Papag Transformers is awesome! I'm bias though because they were my jam when I was a kid, but I would still say they are a great movie franchise worthy of watching, especially if you have a large HDTV and a great sound system, and 3D if you've got it. Tons of shit blowing up all over the place.
Xmen and spiderman are both marvel. They're probably separate because they are not connected to the avengers. Thor, iron man, captain America and the hulk are all in the avengers. Im not big into comics so there might be crossover in some series, but as far as the movies goes that's how it looks like they are splitting them up
seems reasonable, add them all together and Marvel is killing it though. Also I've been hearing a lot about Star Wars, apparently Disney is about to ramp up that franchise with another trilogy and plenty of spin offs.
Transformer movies are exactly what they are supposed to be......entertaining. My boy loves everyone, and I enjoyed them as well. If you are looking for Godfather types acting, you won't find it.
Why yes it does. Well, it's lying. As I said, attendance in the 30s and 40s was many times what it is now.
...says the person most famed for rants on this board. How goes your defense of Canzano and Quick? I forgot, you defected to my anti-Oregonian bandwagon last week. After all these years, you finally saw my light. Glad to have you in my fold!
Hm...I would never have guessed the Fast&Furious franchise that high. Wow. Though I would've picked "Godfather 3" for biggest "Hm, shouldn't have made that one" film. And Return of the Jedi was one of the worst-grossing Star Wars ones? Wouldn't have thought that at ALL.
Spiderman isn't inculded with Marvel because Marvel doesn't own the movie rights to Spiderman, Sony does. And yes, Superman and Batman are DC, not Marvel. The Fantastic Four and X-Men should actually be able to cross over into The Avengers, but Fox owns both of their rights. Also Daredevil.
