One of the smartest and quite sgs in the league. He really frustrated the hell out if Drexler during the finals. The dude was a baller, one of the deadlier shooters from three.

And as papa said, he was an excellent defender

See, that's funny...... I was going to say he wasn't a good defender. Just off memory and not looking at stats, all I can remember is him getting abused by MJ in the post all night long. He did play with some great defenders though. Am I wrong about his defense?

    In 88-89, he shot 48% from 3.

Damn. It would be interesting to go back and see the PERs of the players I grew up watching and idolizing. I wonder if guys I thought were flat out amazing as good as I thought they were.

Guess you missed the dumars of 87-88 and 88-89. Dumars really did a number on Jordan.

Whatever homie. I watched everyone of those classic games and nobody did anything to Jordan. Dumars had some of the best weakside help defenders in the game helping him out.

Just watched the Job Interview with Simmons and Rose on M.J. McCollum and I was pretty excited about drafting him but now i'm over the moon about this kid. He has a poise and work ethic that is off the charts. Lillard and him are going to set a precedent with this team for the next 10 years with their work ethics and intensity. He may be fairly small for a combo guard but he is all heart.

This is what I expect from McCollum.
