One thing that would improve the S2 experience would be some kind of control over who gets to start threads. Suggestions: * if you've started x number of threads in the last ___ you have to wait (like the reputation thing) * you have to post x times in an existing thread for every thread that you start * if a thread you start gets merged because of redundancy three times in quick succession, you get privileges revoked Just a thought. (I'm sure HCP would like to add: you can only start a thread if your post count is more than his)
Since you brought it up, how about excessively long thread titles and starting numerous threads posing a question without offering any opinion?
This just seems excessive. Is it really a problem or is it just bad right now because we're starting free agency?
Couldn't find a thread to post this in, was going to start a new one, then worried about looking like a hypocrite. Damian Lillard in China, presumably for Adidas:
I think most are good suggestions and should be taken to heart but that doesn't mean anything should be required.
I don't have much of a problem with the threads being posted. But I do have one suggestion. We should be able to negative rep. Same rules, can't neg rep the same person over and over, and your name is shown when you neg rep someone. Neg rep me, oh no, you can't. Than piss off.
My suggestion is giving people the ability to change thread titles. The feature seems to work at times, but no one really knows how to do it. Like the Bynum thread up right now-- the notion of us being interested in him was refuted, but the title still says that we are, because we can't change the title.
Couldn't find a thread to post this in, so this thread seems garbage enough. "Till Then" by the Mills Brothers.
