Zombie Blazers Rejected Warriors' Offer Of David Lee, Brandon Rush For LMA

Aldridge/Kaman is pretty mediocre as well. Both scenarios scream "one and out" to me.

 

I see no reason why the blazers will grab kaman. He isn't even better than hickson; IMO. I think the kaman thing is a smoke screen.

 

A smoke screen? Free agency doesn't give time for smoke screens. People get snatched up quickly. That's why they meet at 12:01 AM.

 

No way I'm trading him for Lee, Lee is almost as overrated as he is. No way I'm keeping him on the team. He wants out? Bye, bye.

 

The fact that we heard about this at all tells me that Olshey is publicly setting the market. Good for him.

 

David Lee/Brandon Rush is a pretty low bar.

 

I don't think we are signing the center as a free agent. I still believe we are trading for one. The free agent pool will have too many overpriced bigs.

 

I seriously wonder if maybe there is a wink-wink deal in place to get Asik if Howard signs with Houston.

 

But that offer was rejected, signaling that the price is in fact higher. If we had heard that the two sides "nearly" completed the deal or that extensive talks were being had, you'd get the impression as an outsider that the offer was at least in the ball-park

 

I'm really really hoping this is the case. There is hope, IMO.

 

If Golden State is gonna get Dwight; then I would accept anything less than this.

Klay, Barnes and Lee for Aldridge.

Golden State would do it because having Dwight and Aldridge; with curry is better than what they have now.

 

You're not going to get both -- either or.

I'd look at Klay and look to move Batum for a PF.

 

Depends on the circumstance. If Howard told Golden State, "The only way I come is if you bring in Aldridge"; then I bet they would. It now becomes more of a "We must get this done, so we will give more value"

 

Why would he say that? I don't think Dwight really gives a shit about Lamarcus. That team with shooters and Curry is arguably better than Curry/LA/Howard but no shooters.

What about a deal centered around Bogut and Lee for LMA and our cap space?

 

NO deal. Lee is horrible for our team. Bogut is fine because he expires soon. We have to have one of their young guys and a future pick though.

 

It's all good. Once Howard leaves the Lakers, the Lakers are going to give Kobe a paid rehab-ation, amnesty Pao, then win both the 2014 lottery and the 2014 free agent sweepstakes.

But at least then we can pick up Pao for cheap, so there's that.

 

Any deal would have to be centered around Klay and picks.

Bogut is a filler.

Lee's contract is a deal killer.

 

I wonder if the Warriors like Crabbe. He played a few miles away. Gives us Barnes and Thompson and we will take Lee's shitty contract. They can have LMA and Crabbe.

Then we trade Batum and Wes for a young center, tank next year, and grab a top lottery pick.
