The elephant in the room: if the Greek is so good, why has there been zero talk of him coming to the Blazers?

I'm guessing jlprk hit it - he has issued a "trade me or I stay in Europe" ultimatum. That makes this pretty close to a something-for-nothing deal.

Reading both Sacramento and Houston forums - they basically said that TROB is just so much more raw than anyone expected.

Instead of trying to turn him into a jump shooter (Sacramento!) they have to develop him on the Kenneth Faried plan -- dirty work!

Is it such a reach to think TRob will end up better than Anthony Bennett?

    I still can't believe we got T-rob.

Think of it this way, we got two top 10 picks from last years draft. I know it doesn't mean that much in hindsight, since very few players live up to their draft positions. But if you would have told me this time last year that we would end up with Lillard and Robinson, I wouldn't believe. I wonder if we go back to see how many of S2 posters would have given up a whole lot to be able to draft T-rob.

Yeah I would have given up anything outside of LaMarcus or our #6 to get the #2 and draft TRob. I figured he was clearly the second best player after Davis. Got to admit I would've drafted Barnes ahead of Lillard too.

Bennett has better all around basketball skills, I think.

So what would happen if T Rob actually came in and produced to the level of his hype?

All of these "Bolded" quotes are very nice if they pan out. Anyone else think he has the potential to get there?

I actually never thought much of Robinson, although I also never thought he'd be on his third team by now. I'm happy we got him for cheap and hopeful he becomes a solid role player, but that's all I ever expected from him coming out of college.

For 3 mil PER season; it would be a great deal then. If he only turns out to be a solid role player 6-7 ppg, 48% FG, 6-7 boards, 1 block; that's well worth 3 mil per.

I am excited about picking him up, but I remember him struggling mightily during summer league last year. It will be interesting to see how he does this year.

I think Sacramento was trying to make him a spot up shooter; which was a fucking terrible idea. If he could come in and pound down in the low block; I think that's better suited to his game. Also gives him the best opportunity to rebound the ball.

My big question is where is T-Rob right now? Has he been busting his ass since the end of the season to prepare and get better for next season? Is he satisfied and has been chilling thus far this summer? Is he sulking? What's his frame of mind?
