There are also very few places to get water inside the venue, and at those places there are huge lines, you have to miss at least 30 minutes of music to get water. It was ridiculous.

Tiesto was fantastic, so much energy the whole two hour set. I didn't leave "The Pit" the whole time!

But my favorite set was actually Madeon, a 19 year old French DJ who mixes everything live and didn't pick up the microphone once. So many different kinds of energy and emotions came during that set.

I was actually going to see Madeon last night in Vegas at XS nightswim but our dinner ran too late and we were too full. Saw Bob Sinclar and Dmitri Vegas and Like mike, Steve Aoki and Sultan and Ned Shepard....at various clubs and pools all weekend.

anyway, this is Wolfgang Gartner at Sasquatch....I've seen him at XS..he's fucking great.

Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike were definitely one of my favorites at Paradiso as well, and I'd love to see Wolfgang Gartner.. I'm pretty sure I heard Shrunken Heads by him played at least 4 times throughout the two days, and I went crazy every time.

Soooo now it's July, and I'll be going to What The Festival this month!

It's less well known musicians, but a bunch of different genres and more of a giant camping party with music than Paradiso was.

There's a playlist at the bottom of their website where you can listen to a song by each of the artists that'll be there.

First concert I went to was autzen stadium in Eugene. Seen Eddie Money, Outlaws, Santana, and the Dead. Eddie Money sucked, Outlaws out jammed Santana, and the Dead was great. Santana just came out and played like straight off the record no jamming really disappointing.

I seen the Dead again at PIR. I've seen them four or five times. One of the times that I seen them in the Memorial Coliseum St Helens went off the second time right in the middle of them playing Fire on the Mountain.

I seen Can Heat and at the time Sea Food Mama along with a few other bands at the Portland Speed Way. Me and a couple friends took Bear some beer while he was on stage between songs. Six months later he died.

I seen some local bands at I think it was Eagle Creek park, but I don't even remember the bands names, did have a good time.

My brother went to the Bluesfest today only to find out they were charging $50 at the gate. I don't care if Robert Plante's there or not. Still ridiculous for a summer festival where you know you're getting shitty seating and its going to sound like shit and the bathroom lines will be ridiculous.
