CJ McCollum will be a guest on The Jungle with Jim Rome at 10:03 AM today. You can listen in at 750thegame.com, or at 750 AM. Sent from HCPs Baller-Ass iPhone 5...FAMS!
CJ sounds pumped, and like's he's got a killer instinct. Can't wait to see him and Lillard make some waves together.
Good interview. And Rome is VERY impressed after his conversation with him. Rome wears on me, but if you're in Rome's good graces, you're an intriguing personality and interview. Can't wait to see this kid perform on the court!
I don't know why I feel this way, but from the sound of his interview; he sounds just like Lillard 2.0. He's got a bit of Roy in him too. Would this be a good time to trade Matthews and Freeland for a sign and trade for Allen?
CJ McCollum @CJMcCollum 13m Thanks for having me on the show @jimrome I appreciate it. Here is the link @richardhaasjr ... http://bit.ly/14Nl5y1
CJ was a journalism major and it shows he is an articulate speaker. The local media is going to love him since he is part of their secret club.
http://blogs.trailblazers.com/Broad...188/EntryID/5014/BroadcasterID/4/Default.aspx This was stemmed from the Jim Rome show; but's a good read. It's the summary of the interview.
I actually think he's a little sharper than Lillard is. I could see CJ coaching someday. Does anyone else think Lillard and CJ will become video room buddies?
And fellow gym rats. It remains to be seen how compatible they'll be on the floor, but I think they'll make each other much better players because of their similar intelligence and drive.
It's one thing to give a good interview. It's another to prove it on the court. I'll wait to see how he does in the NBA.
McCollum is smarter than Lillard. They will start as rivals and become bitter enemies. Lillard will murder McCollum and give the Oregonian a heart attack. The Blazers will then become America's Team.
