I mix homemade teriyaki sauce into the raw burger
Grill the burger on one side
Flip, then lay on top a pineapple ring, slice green pepper, and a thick slice of provolone cheese
Continue grilling until done (I like medium)
Toast or micro an onion bun
Spread mayo on both sides of bun
Lettuce, Tomato, A thin slice of red onion, Avocado (optional)

    Good stuff!

    Varies!

There's a great place in Oakland, Barney's Gourmet Burgers. I get the California burger, comes with avocado, as in a whole avocado, a load of melty Jack cheese, sprouts & other stuff. Messy but good.

Always a little mustard, never mayo, aside from that whatever happens to be available. Although I don't frankly eat a lot of burgers and never fast food.

love caramelized onions, a thick smokey bacon and some swiss cheese. Add to that some butter lettuce and a bit of good mustard and that's as good as it gets. Cooked medium rare.

A fried egg. Anytime I'm looking for a burger at a restaurant I look for one with a fried egg.

If I'm cooking just a burger without cheese I like to butter two white pieces of bread, cook the hamburger medium rare and slap it on the bread and let the burger melt the butter into the bread and eat it just like that. Usually I put garlic salt on the hamburger before cooking. I use to do that with cube steaks too.

If I cook a burger with cheese I usually like tomatoes with it and put mayo on both sides of the bun and put sweet relish on the top bun.

Speaking of burgers anyone have the Cheesus at the Grilled Cheese Grill?

    The Original Cheesus$8.50
The Now-Famous Burger Behemoth. We've done away with the bun and replaced it with two grilled cheese sandwiches. That's right, two of them. One on top, another on the bottom. Pickles and American Cheese in one, Grilled Onions and Colby Jack in the other. Lettuce, Tomato, Ketchup, Mustard and 1/3lb Burger in between. You won't need to eat again for 2 days. Comes with potato chips and napkins.
