<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers added depth to their frontcourt Friday by signing 11-year veteran Alan Henderson.Henderson, a 6-foot-9, 240-pound forward/center, has averaged 8.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 614 career games (215 starts) for three different teams. Last season with Cleveland, he averaged 2.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 51 games. The Sixers also signed rookie free agent forward Ivan McFarlin. McFarlin, out of Oklahoma State, played professionally in France last season. He averaged 9.2 points and 9.7 rebounds in six games on the Sixers 2006 summer league team.</div>LinkI wish he would have went after Reggie Evans..but at least Billy did SOMETHING. McFarlin in a nutshell is a better version of James Thomas with offense.

Anyways I don't really care about these signings. Henderson is old and will hardly get any playing time and it's the same with McFarlin

NBA Finals, here we come! :HAHAHA: :brickwall: :no1:  Is this all Billy King is going to do after proclaiming he will make "huge offseason changes"? Hey Billy, this really isn't going to save your job, buddy.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BALLAHOLLIC @ Sep 9 2006, 12:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Sixers forum= One of the worst team boards on the site.</div>I wouldn't necessarily say that... simply because there are a lot of team forums on here that aren't that active. But then again, the reason the Sixers forum isn't active is because Billy King isn't active during the offseason either...

And all they are, are just spam topics. People are just giving like a sentence or two answer. On this signing, Henderson was decent for the Mavs 2 seasons ago but he seemed to not make a dent on the Cavs rotation this past season. He's not a bad guy to have on your team though. Don't know anything about this McFarlin guy.

The only thing I like about the Henderson signing is that he is a veteran PF who knows his role, and is a decent addition to the front court rotation if any of our big men go down.

McFarlin is a monster on the boards it seems like. Dunno how that'll translate to the league.
