Who do you think will make the biggest strides this year?I think Perk will make the biggest jump, followed by Tony Allen, then Delonte.Perk will be playing alot compared to last year, and actually before his shoulder injury, he had a stretch of like ten games where he was getting 26 mpg, 9 ppg, and 9 rpg. He's finally gotten his body into professional shape, and i expect big things out of him this year. He's an absolute beast near the basket, and if he can learn his role, which i think he has, he'll be dominant defensively next year. He will be especially valuable in a smaller line-up.When we saw Tony Allen fully healthy at the end of the year, it was undeniable that he'd make an impact this upcoming year. He has vastly improved everything about his offense, including his outside shot and ballhandling. Not to mention, with all the young guys getting extensions, TA might have some extra motivation to prove he belongs. Same goes for Perk.
Are you talking about only Celtics players. If you are then these are the players I think will break out this year.Sebastian TelfairGerald GreenKendrick PerkinsTony AllenAl JeffersonI see a bright future for Boston if these guys step it up.

But my answer: Big Al. I have not given up on Jefferson, like some fans have. This kid still has tons of potential in that body, and it's great that he got his ankle fixed and that he's been a regular at the facilities in Waltham this summer. Everything is mental now, no more excuses with the ankles or whatnot. This is Big Al's time to shine, and I have a lot of faith in him. Maybe "breakout year" isn't the correct term, but he will make a jump and I see him scoring double figures and stepping his game up.
Perkins, Gomes and Jeffersonhe had a pretty good year last year but he's definitly gunna explode this season..you KNOW him and jefferson are gunna be battlin hard for the 4 spot and both are gunna be nuts

well do you mean next season or in their career?IMO delonte already broke out..he obviously hasnt hit his peak in talent and numbers yet but he's already a top guy on the celtics and has proven himself
