Predict Dwightcision 2013. I say Lakers. They brought the TV guys to the meeting. And they gave him an iPad.

I think when you got that kind of money an iPad is irrelevant.

Toronto... but only if they go back to their original uniforms.

If I were him I'd pick Houston. Lakers are a train wreck, Mavs' best player is 35, and the Warriors are a Curry ankle away from irrelevancy.

In Houston you get to play with the best shooting guard in the league. Harden is only 24 and still improving, and seems to be an awesome teammate who loves passing. Howard is going to get a lot of scoring opportunities just playing off Harden.

Plus, they are going to get something very good for Asik. Parsons is a nice fit. Last year they had 9 guys on the roster with PER's over 12 under the age of 25, so they have some decent young talent there to build on.

Mainly, though, it's all about Harden. Howard has to be tired of bouncing around from team to team, watching them implode from lack of a healthy superstar.

I would probably choose Houston as well, but don't discount Dallas. They have a shit ton of cap space next summer, and going forward. They could easily sign Dwight and then bring in someone like LeBron next summer.

Lakers, just because of the money they can offer.

    Lakers.

I just don't think they would have made a move last year for him if there wasn't some kind of assurance he would be back.

Well someone might want to tell the Lakers about that assurance. They could have skipped that whole dog and pony show yesterday.

My guess is Houston. I think he wants to play with his buddy Josh Smith and Houston seems to have the best realistic chance to pull that off.

I know a lot of you have poo pooed the Lakers talent as being trash but there is still pretty good talent and depth on that team. They might have to release a head coach because I'm not sure he is happy with Mike D. That was an accident waiting to happen. But I think he will end up in LA.

The Lakers have just as much as a shot as any of the other teams. So I would not count them out. But there was no assurance given he would re-sign.

I'm thinking Dwight is staying with LA.

    Reasons:

    1. He wants the attention to be courted. I don't think he was serious about Free Agency, just wanted people to suck up to him because he's a big baby bitch ass.

    2. He doesn't want to piss off another fan base. Other teams won't get pissed if he disses him, but LA would. Don't think he would be able to handle that.

It was a deal that took three months to be constructed and for the trigger to be pulled. A lot of that time was spent gauging Howards interest in not only playing for LA but his liklihood of resigning for LA. I just don't think LA would have made the deal if there wasn't some kind of assurance he would be back. Will see but I think he comes back. LA should get their man again.

not really. Nash is old as dirt, MWP is old and has brain rot.
The only two players they have that are decent are Kobe who is broken at the moment, and Pao who has been very inconsistent over the past two seasons. As far as depth, the next best player on their team is earl clark. After that, they have nobody. Nobody. NObody. NOBODY.

He just interviewed four other teams for "his services". If he was committed to the Lakers, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Doesn't mean he won't sign there, but the Lakers have no assurance whatsoever.

I kind of want him to resign with LAL because I think he's worthless and will only get worse while eating up their capspace. Also keeps them out of Wigginsmania.
