I don't think we will do squat. Seems like Sather and Clark want kids to fill the roster spots. The only thing I can think of them doing is maybe Scuderi if they can dump the salary of Pyatt and Asham. He would be a really good vet defenseman to add. He might take the spot of McIlrath but I'm really worried about Staal coming back. If he doesn't, we would need a Scuderi type.

I'll probably spend Friday checking the FA tracker though I don't expect we will be on it. Just curious what other teams will overspend for free agents like every off-season.

I'm here. And for my first post I will say we need to add another winger who can score. Since we have no cap space, it will most likely come via trading a dman like MDZ. I know you love that dump....

 

Can't trade MDZ without 100% certainty that Staal will be back and will not miss games.

I get what you are saying about Staal, but I can only work under the assumption he will be okay to start the season.

Simply put, we do not have enough O. Double so when you factor in Hags and Cally missing the start of the season. We need to add another winger that can score.

I wish Clowe would take a 1 y, 2.5 deal from us. If he has a great year, he can get a good contract after the season.
