after the world championships people are saying how he's one of the best in the league when they would ride lebron and wade's tips so hardi hate when people do thatafter a player gets ignored and underrated for a couple seasons and then plays great (like always) while all eyes are on him people act like they're real fans and that they always supported him and think he's one of the top players in the leagueprops to carmelo for always keepin it real and playing how he plays and :thumbdn1: to the people who act like they're hardcore carmelo fans now that he proved to them that he's better than they gave him credit for
I have been with Melo since day 1!I dont think people are jumping on the bandwagon, He has always been a great player with limited exposure. He has been overshadowed by Wade and Lebron, He finally got some media attention.

Wade and Lebron are clearly better players than Melo.</div>Theres a difference between being the better players and being overshadowed. Carmelo hits 5 game winning shots this season, You hear nothing. Lebron hits 1 shot and Yahoo names him the King of Clutch. It's rediculus.
Carmelo doesn't get enough exposure simply because he is in a smaller market than both LeBron and Wade... simple as that.Is he a great player? Certainly... and this summer a lot of people who otherwise wouldn't see him play were able to see what kind of game he possesses.

Melo has been clutch last year for Denver hitting game winning shots for them.</div>He's always been clutch. Not just starting this season. Doesn't he have like 11 game winning shots already in his 3 year career?
Melo wasn't clutch in the playoffs where it counts. I would say Lebron and Wade had their moments this year in the playoffs where they were clutch. Especially Wade. Melo doesn't do anything better than Wade or Lebron.

No matter what happens, Melo will always be known as "The Third Best Player of the 2003 Draft". He could average 30 ppg next season, but... wait... Never mind.
Carmelo playing good "as always?" He's been "fantastic" since day 1?He wasn't. He had a very good rookie season, but his second season wasn't all that. Often settling for jumpers, making bad decisions, his scoring went down a bit, his rebounding numbers went down a bit, even steals went down a bit (and playing time). Not that made him a "mediocre" small forward, but he certainly didn't improve his second season, when you compare it to his first.but in his third season.... it all worked out, and he played great. At the worlds? He played great. The only reason why he might be slightly underrated (which isn't the case anymore), was because of the fact that Wade and Bron improved in their second season, and he did not. But now all is good, so stop the whining, 'cause you can't stop the shining. Why I put that last sentence in there, I'm not sure.
Considering how big of a mess the Nuggets management has been, I think Carmelo has done a very good job there
