    1yr $1.8M base + incentives.

    Great deal for Boston.

They were already better than us, but this just widens the gap more.

Iginla's salary is $1.8 million, but a source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun a games-played bonus of $3.7 million and a goal-scoring/team playoff performance bonus of $500,000 can bring the total to $6 million.

yea, so i assume the cap hit is $6M regardless of whether he hits the incentives of not, but even at $6M, on a 1yr deal for Iginla it's a great coup. Very little risk there.

I hear you. Funny how this stuff works. He says F Boston, and now signs there. Sports is crazy sometimes...LOL.

    Not sure if serious...

Iginla couldn't hit the net with a beach ball this playoffs.
