I'm gonna be in Vegas next week. I'm gonna ask my casino manger if she can hook me up with some tickets

If he plays, it will be for a few minutes. He probably just wants to be around the new players with the Blazers paying for it by including him on the rosters.

Wes did the exact same thing last year, remember?

You aren't gaining chemistry in summer league. It's 1 step up from playing in the parks.

You can show leadership by practicing with the practice team, though. The Blazers pay for it if they put Lilz on the roster. I'm glad he's there.

Just with our history, I get freaked out that our guys are going to get hurt. I'd hate to see what happened to Nolan last summer happen to Dame.

While a young player can always use more burn, I would rather see him save it for preseason. Was really hoping to see Elliot Williams back for summer league.:chestbump:

Rather see him sit on the couch all summer and gain 20 lbs and work it off in camp.

Makes sense. Bayless hogged every Summer League possession as a PG pretender, ruining Koponen's series. The next summer, McMillan was surprised how tall Petteri is, a full 6-5. Bayless had made his rival so invisible, that no one had even glimpsed the most basic thing, his height.

A real PG will allow truer evaluations of players.

Well your point is moot, seeing how you can gain chemistry playing in the park.

Shawn Kemp used to buy chemistry while playing basketball in the park.

Hey Fonz, were you ever a Sonic board regular?

No Sir, but I enjoy the play on words there...Even though I don't think drug addiction is a laughing matter. Regardless that was clever!

There was a Sonic poster who had Fonz in his name but I don't remember the full name. Anyway...

I'm more surprised about Claver (who is currently running his camp) and Freeland. I thought they might be practicing for their respective Euro teams. But maybe Britain didn't qualify for Eurobasket, and maybe Claver was left off the Spanish team...
