At least one of them, maybe both, were going to be gone anyway. Both of their contracts are a bit long for my tastes. Love what Jack gave us but by the end of this past season it became clear that we're better off with Curry handling the rock then letting Jack take the reigns for such an extended period. Both were awesome for us, but I prefer adding Iggy and trying to progress. I don't think that core with JJ in such a premier role could have gone much further than it did.

Aren't you glad we have Lopez for 2 years instead of 3 years for Zaza at that price?

Shooting for the middle I guess...

    PG - Jose Calderon/Devin Harris/Shane Larkin/Gal Mekel
    SG - Vince Carter
    SF - Shawn Marion
    PF - Dirk Nowitzki/Jae Crowder
    C - ?

...with roughly $8 mill left to spend in free agency.

    I don't get it.

I guess this means they decided not to pull the trigger on Bynum, unless they think they can open up some more cap space

See JJ going to DAL probably. No one else is gonna spend that kinda cash on him now.

Zaza Pachulia got a 3 yr/ 16 million dollar deal with the Bucks.

Compared to that, Lopez is a steal.

Man, our bench would be great if he had to come back here again.

They still have the rights to Eddy Curry, right?

15 million for Zaza Pachulia. Did the "Most Depressed Fan Base" championship belt arrive in Milwaukee yet? Sacramento sent it 2-day UPS.

I'm not sure why you're signing Pachulia when you have Sanders, Udoh, Henson & Ilyasova.

Ekpe Udoh is like, "Do they know I'm on the team?" Can we give one of Milwaukee's bigs to the Clippers or Warriors?

Who can we give Milwaukee for Ekpe Udoh?

    Hmm.

Combine Dallas and Milwaukee and you'd have a balanced roster.

I'm glad the Zaza/Gortat stuff can finally die off.

I can't believe Dallas won the championship several years back.

Supposedly Detroit is really going for it, and trying to trade for Rudy Gay (should be easy) and/or Rajon Rondo (who is a big pal of Josh Smith's). As somebody who lives in Michigan I'd be all for that!

Earl Watson was good for McMillan in Seattle, sharing the PG position. Ridnour was Mr. Outside and Watson was Mr. Inside. He will really help us. Good driver like Jarrett Jack.

Matt Barnes and Nate Anderson always end up on bargain contracts.
