Jason Kapono ($1.1 million) and Michael Doleac ($3.13 million) also could be trade bait. [READ]</div>What point guard do you guys think they'll try to get?
Thank god, hes getting old and his contract is really no use to us anymore. Doleac and Kapono don't do much either, I'm guessing they will try to get a young point guard in case Gary doesn't return next season.
Yeah, I don't know what their options are as far as trading partners. What I think they should take into consideration is signing Jay Williams. He's making his comeback, and he's young, but it's a low-risk option. Let him get his feet wet in the NBA for this year, playing small minutes behind J-Will/Payton, then next year when GP retires, Jay should be ready to handle the backup minutes. I don't see the hurt in it. He's young and cheap; low-risk high-reward.
IMO Cleveland would be the most interested teamMiami would want to pick up Damon Jones to hit that open 3 like he did in 04-05 just with about half the minutes
Figures, I don't know who'd want to trade for this washed up scrub, but he'll probably sign with someone now.
how is he a washed up scrub? He isnt that old and he can still play the game. He just needs to find a team where his skillset will be utilized.
