Lillard says to expect more craftiness in his game this season, specifically mentions the floater #RipCity

I swear, if he adds a floater to his game; he's gonna be a huge problem for teams!

Does anyone have any news if Lillard worked out with Payton this summer? I know the invitation was made, but I read nothing about it happening.

Twist: Stotts has actually asked him to shoot more 3's, and this is simply misdirection.

He has not worked out with GP yet. GP was in China playing hoops on the NBA legends team.

I hope Lillard attacks the paint more. He has the speed, ability and "craftiness" to make it such a big headache for teams. We have plenty of shooters right now. We need a Parker type that really gets under the team's skin. I would love his D get much better too. Can't get everything!

I say this onyl half jokingly, a floater could open his game and make him twice the player. Defenses would no idea what is coming because he already does everything else so well and Parker is exactly the guy I would like to see him model that after

Joking, plr. 3-point practice has kinda been the cool thing to fret about lately.

Working on his arsenal in the paint can only be a good thing for Lillard -- seeing his development next season is one of the things I'm most looking forward to. It is somewhat uncrafty to call one's shot like that, though... ;)

Me too. He has so many shooters around him now. It's going to be hard to stop him.

While I think it'd be a great addition, I'd say he was already a huge problem for teams.

Oh well yeah of course he's still a major problem. Guess the word is "unstoppable?"

In some interviews yesterday he was saying that he was still planning to work out with GP later this summer. Also, that instead of blasting to the rim every time and getting clobbered, he's working on hesitations and pulling up short and other techniques to get his shot up with a little less punishment (my words not his), such as the floater you speak of.

Sorry, no time to look for links. Someone probably has them in another thread anyway.
