    I tweeted

@magnifier661: @aldridge_12 @Steeeeve15 can you ask Aldridge has he worked on the low block? Will we see laMonster next season?

    His response:

@Steeeeve15: @magnifier661 yes he have, you're going to see left block and right block work.

And he's been tweeting that he's excited about next season. Not really a player that wants out if you ask me.

I don't know. Aldridge said to ask him questions and he will answer them. I suspect maybe it's his trainer?

The moment LA gives up a wide open 18f to go into the low post Stotts will sit him for Leonard who will shoot that 18f!

Recall that the LaMonster stretch was when Portland had a decent high post Big in Camby. While LA may be working on his low block game, Portland's recent Bigs additions don't play on the high post so like last year he'll have lots of company if he tries to set up down low this year. To see LA down low more we probably need to see Meyers and/or Freeland's overall game take a giant step forward as they both have the mid-range shots to play high post

Meyers can hit an open jumper.

I agree that Camby was essential for the high post; but eventually teams were able to cut it off. The amount of outside shooting will be the true positive for getting the ball in the low block. Aldridge will have way more room to operate too because the shooters are deadly. I have a feeling Aldridge's assist numbers will increase next season.

Blazers coach Terry Stotts says he has been in contact with LaMarcus Aldridge this summer and received no indication of unhappiness.

To be fair, he's a bit busy being rich and banging his hot wife on the beach to pay too much attention to us nerds.

LaMarcus working on his low post moves and becoming a back-to-the-basket bruiser? I'll believe it when I see it.
