I'm so psyched. I was the top story on the KEZI 6:30 news today and I wore my Damian Lillard rookie of the year shirt so I looked like a total badass. It is supposed to run again at 11pm. If you're in the Eugene area, check it out.
well done, Eric. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Though I'm not sure "total badass" is what I'd call the look, no matter what t-shirt you're wearing.
Eric, I said at the time and I still say, with your cherub face, they should have brought you back as an evil genius super villain. Those ass clowns at Bones blew it. Maybe the show's producers and writers simply lack the talent and the drive to pull it off, IDK.
No mention of CJ McCollum.... you only fuel his fire Eric. He probably has a picture of you on his wall with a couple darts through it
Great article! Would've like to see the TV interview as well. P.S. Bones jumped the shark when Dr. Addy went to prison. Seriously, he was my favorite (the character was sort of a sweet Sheldon Cooper, Big Bang Theory, before Sheldon Cooper existed) and none of the interns that came after that were anywhere near as appealing. I kept hoping they'd figure out how to prove Zach innocent and bring him back but it didn't happen and I stopped watching the show consistently.
Bones is suffering from the same problems of almost every long running show in the history of TV. They've explored all the main plot objectives. It has run its course. Half of the appeal of the show was the sexual tension between Boothe and Brennan. When that ended, the show really lost its steam. One thing that annoys me about TV, and this isn't necessarily about Bones, but I get annoyed when the overall plot idea isn't interesting enough for the writers so they get caught up in the trivial interactions between the characters. A good example of this is "White Collar." I really liked that show, but they hardly ever focus on the main concept, which is an ex-con helping the FEDs catch con men, and instead they write about these weird offshoot plots and absurd twists that are extremely unrealistic. Why can't they just have them solving crimes?

I notice the same thing in Law & Order SVU, NateBishop. Some of the plots have gotten so convoluted. And I'm still waiting for Ken and Alejandro to get married; their engagement was a season and a half ago! Seriously, good to see KingSpeed alive & well.
Best wishes, KingSpeed. Somehow you've got to network better around the networks. Maybe you should live in Hollywood. I hate the place, which destroyed my budding stardom, apparently, well something must have happened, but maybe you could live there in the cooler months to network the honchos and big cheeses, and live in New York in the warmer months. Anyway, as idealists say, it's all in who you know. Follow my advice and you can't go wrong.
Thank you! I really wish I could go to the show but am going to a wedding Saturday evening then taking off for North Dakota on the 6:05am flight Sunday. Hopefully there is a next time, I will be there for that... break a leg!
