Not on my end Mess. Not once do I ever go out of my way to get into it with 31. Yet time after time he has to chime in with his BS towards me from out of LF. I don't understand what his issue is. Literally 3 or 4 times since this new board has started I said nicely to him enough dude let it go. But he simply cannot stop. Every time there is a back and forth with us he starts it. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Not sure what his issue is, but clearly he has an issue with me.
It is not a good sign at all. If one were a betting man you'd have to bet Hank gets over 8 mill per now, if not more. And I don't like it.
Don't get worried about it. Hank will get taken care of. His cap hit is almost seven million now. The cap will increase next year and money will be coming off the books. He will get a long contract and end his career a Ranger.

This is why teams have cap issues. There was no reason for Boston to offer Rask that type of money. He's started two years. Absurd. Philly does the same thing with young players which is why they are stupid. You don't throw tons of money at young players when you don't have to.
Yeah, that's what I said above also. 7.5 per. It makes sense, I just don't know if Hank would take that. From where I sit it makes sense. Hank says winning is # 1. That's what he cares about. So prove it. Take a great deal that will still make him the highest paid goalie in the NHL per season, and allow the Rangers to keep that extra million or so to sign other guys. Hank also makes money off the ice, so I am pretty sure that a 60 mill contract will put him in the great spot for life. The issue with stuff like this is it becomes more than about the player. Like the union, and other goalies, will want Hank to get everything he can so he can set the bar. We'll see how it goes, but again if I were a betting man I would say he gets over an 8 mill per contract. We'll see.
And yeah...the Rask contract is nuts. I was thinking 5.5 per...maybe 6. To give a goalie who has played one season a 7 mill per contract, is a bit crazy. He is the highest paid goalie in the NHL, along with Rinne, per season. We'll see if the Bruins were smart or stupid on that one.
