Definitely around the 50 mark, if all goes well of courseKobe will be KobeKwame has nowhere to go but upOdom will be more comfortable with PJ's offenceAnd everyone else on the team will hopefully just get better, hopefully chris mihm has more of those 20+ point games... and hopefully smush keeps improving especially on making his D less risky
The lakers have so many more options this year. Fist of all we have one of the best 3 point shooters in the game. Then, we have a great backup in Ronny turiaf who has a big body and showed he could run with the big dogs in the playoffs. We drafter one of the smartest and most athletics player in the draft in Jordan Farmar. And we were able to get an ecellent backup for Kobe. AND! We have 2.5 quality centers, if Kwame ain't getting it done we'll throw Mihm in there! We could get up to 55 wins! This team is going to shock a lot of people and when they do I'm going to be able to say "I told you so!"
I expect a 43-39 record. I believe the Lakers will make it to the playoffs, but maybe in the 7th or 8th seed. If 43-39 doesn't work, I expect a solid 41-41 to make the 8th seed.

I think they'll win 48.
They shouldn't do that bad. I love how everybody totally dismisses the Lakers, as if they are complete sh*t.
The 7th seed isn't complete sh*t. And just like how you love the few people saying they'll get below 50 wins I love how the Lakers overrate them so much. It'll just make this season just so much better.
Were not overrating them, we're just looking at the possibilities. Now saying they'll win the title is crazy.
This is pretty much the same team as last season, other than adding potential impact players Jordan Farmar and Vladimir Radmanovic this team is literally no different...Between 40-50 wins seems to be the range.
The Lakers should have won at least 50 games last season, but their youth and inexperience cost them 10 or so games down the stretch in the fourth. Another year older and with year of triangle experience under their belts, I don't think it's crazy to think they'll be improved. Also, the Lakers barely lost anyone during the offseason, and added some guys who can definitely make impacts.Radmanovic should have a career year with Kobe opening up the floor for him.Evans will provide a defensive spark off the bench, much like George used to do, hopefully (unlike George), Mo will be consistent.
