Sam Mendes again has a license to thrill. The Skyfall director is returning to the world of James Bond for the 24th movie featuring the British secret agent, according to Sony Pictures Entertainment. The as-yet-untitled new film, in theaters Nov. 6, 2015, will feature Daniel Craig as Bond for the fourth time and a screenplay written bySkyfall scribe John Logan. Mendes said in a statement that Bond producers let him honor his theater commitments before tackling another movie. Earlier this year, he had told Britain'sEmpire magazine in March that he wasn't doing to direct the next 007 adventure because of the focus needed for stage productions of King Lear andCharlie and the Chocolate Factory, though talks started up between the filmmaker and producers a couple months later.
